I thought about blacking out my website(s) yes, I do have more than one. I also have http://smalltowntechguy.com but it seemed like too much work. Also, if I did it, to most people it would probably just look like I didn’t pay my web hosting bill or something. Actually, since I don’t have that much traffic on my websites it really wouldn’t matter.
SOPA is definitely a bad thing, and I don’t see it passing but I could be wrong.
I have done my part to contact legislators to make sure it’s stopped but I think what will really make them think is money. I heard that on reddit.com they had a campaign to donate money to an opponent of one of the legislators in favor of SOPA, he/she quickly changed their mind after a reddit campaign raised about $15,000 for this politicians opponent.
That’s all I have to say for now on this matter.
